CLAW represented at the Luzon Show

December 18th, 2009 by the jinxmedic

On Thursday, December 17th, 2009, CLAW was well represented at the gallery opening for the “Make No Small Plans” show- a show highlighting the life and times of Tacoma’s historic Luzon building which was recently lost to (for?) a developer’s view.

Present at the show were CLAW’s own RR Anderson and Michael Shaudis, who were both invited to share a number of their Luzon-themed cartoons.

There was a nice crowd present for the opening, and the first two items to sell that night were one work each from our CLAWtonians. Good work, Sirs!

Proceeds from the show benefit the Historic Tacoma foundation. The show runs through sometime in January. (After Sunday December 20th by appointment only.)

the show was action packed with a ton of discolored bricks each a subversive protest to what i’m calling LUZON-GATE
