Scholarship

The Cartoonists League of Absurd Washingtonians has as part of its objectives the awarding of a scholarship to a student interested in learning the mystical art of sequential illustration. This scholarship will be at least a lowly $100, but might reach loftier sums of $200 or maybe even higher. Update: The funds raised for the 2010 Scholarship has reached $368. And it is potentially available to the student who best fills out this application. You must also be currently enrolled in an institution or have confirmation of enrollment. Application Deadline:  MARCH 15 2010.

Note: There will be no exceptions. Application must be postmarked or electronically received no later than MARCH 15. This form may be photocopied. Scholarship reviews will begin March 16. Award recipients will be notified electronically in July 2010. Awards will be mailed out by August 15, 2010. Do not contact CLAW for application status. No application or associated documentation will be returned to
applicants. Recipient names will be listed on the CLAW website in Month 2009
