Once again ,Mark Monlux, Grand PooBah and illustrator extraordinaire, co-founder of the CLAW, and general nice guy, visits with his friend Joe Manfredini to talk about movies. This time they are discussing Reign of Fire.

Five years before Star Wars hit the big screen there was Silent Running. Many thought it to be an overly moralist pro-ecology themed film that was obviously created by a bunch of dirty hippies. But with the planet the way it is now, you have to wonder if it might have helped if more folks had seen this film. The spaceships featured in this film were later reused in a number of television and movie productions. It was one of the fleet ships in Battlestar Galactica. And the robots, the robots are cool!
