HI-KEEBA!

I’m Brandon, I became a member of CLAW in August of 2011. I’ve always admired cartoons and animation from Disney, Warner Bros., MGM, Walter Lantz, DePatie Freleng, and the comic strips such as Peanuts, Garfield, Dilbert, Calvin and Hobbes, Get Fuzzy, The Far Side, and Pearls Before Swine.

I enjoy their irreverent humor and want to draw (pun shamelessly intended) from all of them.

My only official cartoon work so far is political cartoon work. I created a comic for Jessica Smeall (http://www.smeall.org/) and I did a couple comics for a law firm in Ohio. They created a character called Curtis Larceny, an underhanded, self-serving fox prosecutor. This comic didn’t last long, which in a way I was glad for, because I ran out of ideas quickly, and I’m not that much into political humor anyway.

I am currently developing my own comic strip called “Pet Projects” in my spare time. It is about a witch named Notle (pronounced not-lay) and her two pets, a cranky cat named Kaeley, and a troublemaking beagle named Spike.
